1 English National Ballet: Song Of The Earth/La Sylphide

Tamara Rojo fans (and we are many) eagerly anticipate two works new to the ENB's repertoire - MacMillan's masterpiece and Frank Andersen/Eva Kloborg's recreation of a classic. "I actually saw advantages in... the things people thought of as problems," she said when she took the helm of the regional touring company. You go girl!

2 Antigone

If you think Greek drama is all masks and wailing choruses, then you haven't seen a production by Actors Of Dionysus. This blistering adaptation sees Sophocles' tragedy reimagined in a dystopian landscape, where fate is written in code and where drones flock across the skies. Bold ideas combine with passionate and visceral physical theatre.

3 Urban Folk Quartet

This fiddle-led band draws heavily on Celtic dance and traditional song, but they have plenty of 21st-century attitude, embracing influences from funk grooves to Middle-Eastern melodies, Afrobeat to North Indian rhythms. The line-up consists of Galician Paloma Trigas, Albion Band's Tim Broughton, banjo player Dan Walsh and Tom Chapman on cajon.

4 Feast Of Fire

Join Milton Keynes's 50th birthday party as the city streets are lit up by fire. Outdoor performances to suit all sections of the community, live music, and The People's Procession complement fire sculptures, pyrotechnics and fireworks. 5 Nearly Dan: Steely Dan Tribute

Relive the 1970s as this talented nine-piece band performs the meticulously crafted grooves and snappy lyrics of Donald Fagen and Walter Becker. Twenty years and much hard work has gone into creating the ease of Nearly Dan's spirited performances - and it shows. Their style is faithful, though not reverential, and full of spontaneous humour.

6 Bletchley Park

Recently depicted in the award-winning film The Imitation Game, the house and grounds were the central site for Britain's code breakers during the Second World War. Learn about their revolutionary and ultimately life saving work, most notably the intricacies of the Enigma machine designed by Alan Turing.

7 Guided Tour (Over 11s)

This two-hour tour of the collection from Colossus onwards is pure geeky heaven for adults and older children interested in the history of technology. Experienced guides, many of whom spent their careers using the machines on display, explain and demonstrate how the early computers were employed, and tell anecdotes about their design and operation.

8 NERF Zone (Over 6s)

Whatever the weather, little space warriors can let off steam at this indoor attraction. Each hour-long session is led by a NERF Zone Commander, who will guide their team through the non-stop activities ahead. Each participant receives a target vest, goggles and the all-important NERF Blaster.
