1 Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage

Eleanor Bergstein's stage adaptation of her hugely successful 1987 film screenplay, which tells the story of 17-year-old Frances 'Baby' Houseman and her romance with holiday resort dance instructor Johnny Castle in the summer of 1963. Hit songs include Hungry Eyes, Hey Baby and Do You Love Me?

2 Stephen Turner: Exbury Egg

This giant sculpture floats on the Grand Union Canal in Milton Keynes's recently opened Stanton Low Park. The Egg hosts an exhibition of Turner's nature-inspired artworks, as well as being the place where he lives and works during his residency in Milton Keynes, and hosts various talks, walks and workshops.

As a founder member of the satirical cabaret group Fascinating Aida, Dillie Keane has been elegantly melding comedy and music for more than 30 years. She takes a short hiatus for this solo show that marries swooning heartache and hilarity, plus there is the promise of her favourite chutney recipe.

5 The Four Owls

New York's South Bronx collides head-on with, um, the Venetian Carnival to create this extraordinary flowering. The Four Owls, consisting of Fliptrix, Verb T, BVA and Leaf Dog, are the poster boys of UK rap - with a raw underground sound contrasted by complex themes which are literate and drenched in very British social and ecological concern.

This two-hour tour of the collection from Colossus onwards is pure geeky heaven for adults and older children interested in the history of technology. Experienced guides, many of whom spent their careers using the machines on display, explain and demonstrate how the early computers were employed, and tell anecdotes about their design and operation.

7 NERF Zone (Over 6s)

It doesn't matter what the weather is doing outside - little space warriors can let off steam at this indoor attraction. Each hour-long session is led by a NERF Zone Commander, who will guide their team through the non-stop activities ahead. 10 Woburn Safari Park

Be at one with the animals which include majestic tigers, giraffes, lions, monkeys and zebras.
